I was amused by my us-cert email this morning about how Apple has patched
numerous vulnerabilities on their operating system. So much for the argument
that you always hear from Walt Mossberg's column in the Wall Street Journal
about how great Apples are and how Walt thinks they are so superior to PC's.
I have no big problem with Apple and I use an Ipod Mini which is nice for
travel but I do not like how they bundle Quicktime with Itunes and then
Quicktime continues to get hit with so many security vulnerabilities. I
still like Mozilla Firefox because of its extensions and support for 256 bit
AES encryption compared to IE 7 in Windows XP and maximum cipher strength of
128 bit. However, I think that Vista does indeed support the 256 bit AES
encryption with IE7 on their end. I still have not heard a compelling
argument for Opera which I tried and disliked or any other browsers. Any
Thoughts? <sly grin>
