How to remove Storage Space icon from systemtray?

Does any know how to remove the Storage Space icon from the systemtray?
I have a W2K3 domain and W2K3 terminal server.

I have roaming profiles on a seperate W2K3 file server.

I'd never heard of it either, but google reveals that this means that
you have disk quotas enabled for the user profiles.
I'm not sure if you can both enable disk quotas and remove the
systray icon. Isn't that were users are supposed to check their
quotas?

Hi Vera,

Yes, that is it!
I've forced the Microsoft default max profile size (30MB) via GPO.
This probably forced the icon on the systemtray.

There is no delete option in that Profile Storage Space, but you are right
that the users can check where the big files are and then locate them via the
Windows Explorer to remove them.

(since users don't clean up, I don't want to give them this icon, but maybe
it is better to leave it there)

Ah. Thanks for telling me about this thing I'd never heard of!

I don't recommend you do this to the profile in your policy. If you use
folder redirection for app data, my docs, and desktop, the profile should
stay significantly smaller than that anyway!

Yes, I use folder redirection as well.
This is just an extra precaution to prevent large profiles.
