Hi friends, I recently install a new w2k3 std with 10 cals for terminal
server, I already activate the license server, and I can see on screen a
column saying "Windows Server 2003 - TS Per User CAL Total 10, Available 10"
.... my question, should I assign a Cal for each specific user?

or everytime any user who logon remotely will use one of my cals available?

Re: TS per user CAL question

Hi / Hola Hernan:

The Terminal server (TS) CAL are assignned automatically by the system. You
do not have to intervine. Regarding the use of the call and how the work, I
refer you this KB, take a look:

Re: TS per user CAL question

In Win2003, Per User CALs are not assigned by the system. You'll need to
manually keep track of how many users are using the TS.
