cannot select labels as tray assignment on Terminal server Drives device options

we have a hp4250 which is networked attached. We have the printer locally
installed on our terminal servers as well as our printer service for non
thin clients. If I review the printer server copy of the printer I can
select Labels as form assignment to a tray. I cannot do this on the
terminal server version as the Labels form type is not even listed. The
drivers are the same version. Why is this ?

Check if you are using the exact version of the driver which is
compatible with TS (version 61.063.461.42)

yes that is the version of the driver and it is installed on both the TS
server and PRINT server

Best place to ask is you HP vendor or search HP's knowledge base.
Tray assignments are not always carried over, if the server cannot
communicate directly with the printer.
