Hi,
Please help me to understand a problem I have.
We have two domains and two separate physical sites. We have a lease line
between the two. The two domains have a trust relationship setup.
For Domain N, the profile shares are located at site N and they can roam
form various PC's. All the PC's are members of domain N.
So, a user is based in Domain N and wants to logon in the other office
(office L) where the PC's are members of domain L but have logon to domain N
as an option.
The user enters his credentials and selects domain N from the list and logs
on. He then gets "unable to load profile, network path not found" He
cannot access his home directory or any of the network shares from domain N
but he can create his mail profile from the exchange server in domain N.
I don't understand why he cannot communicate to the profile server though.
I can ping it from the domain L PC but not unc the profile share or any
network shares.
Any advice appreciated. I hope I've made myself clear enough.
