Re: Error code 8007000B when trying to install updates

I have the same problem with Vista Home Premium. I asked for help and wrote
out the exact error message and code(s). This has been going on since last
year...and once in a while some updates will install...eventually....but I
still have 24 that absolutely will NOT install. I wrote to tech support, and
received an answer that told me to turn off my firewall. Well, I have turned
off both the Windows and my Virus Scan firewalls, yet was only able to
install 5 successfully.

I also get a smaller code...87F with this 8007000B code.

Also, my automatic backup isn't working anymore either. I tried to backup
to a disk, but none of them took...even tho a message said they took. I am
about to take Vista out of my computer and put XP back in.
