server 2008 standard

after Buying a HP server with 2008 windows server and 40 Cals, customer wants
to buy the same Hardware for disastery recovery.
if my First Server failes I want to bring the other server and be up and
running within some given time (one Hour).
the software company that has DuableTake does not support Windows 2008
standard.
any suggestions?
this is thier AD and DNS and Fileserver and running some Proasive SQL data
base programs

What do you mean with "that has DuableTake does not support Windows 2008"

Normally install the second server also as Domain controller, Global catalog
and DNS server. For the file server you can use domain based DFS so you can
have on both machines the same folders/files located. For your SQL database
you have to check with the vendor how to handle backup and recovery or move
to another machine in the same domain.

I was hoping to find a software etc.
I know what you ment but if I remove the first server I donot have a exact
server (pointers, shorcuts, The SQL nameing ) I am trying to getway from
changing all of that.

As I said we bought the server 2008 Standard which does not support Clustering
