Hi, I have Win2k3 small business edition and a couple of questions:

Does the standard Win2k3 sb include some terminal services license (2,
3) ?

Is possible with terminal services to restrict some users to use only
a certain application and not all the installed apps ?

Thank you.

Re: Win2k3 small business and terminal services

Hi:

Windows 2003 Standard do not include any license (CAL) for Terminal server.
You have to buy them separately.

Windows 2003 SBS do not support TS in aplication mode. You just you can
access remoteley for Administration porpouses.

The Terminal Server component is not available in the Windows Components
Wizard in Windows Small Business Server 2003

Can I add aplication mode support as an upgrade ?

Re: Win2k3 small business and terminal services

No. You can though add a new terminalserver to your SBS Domain.

Re: Win2k3 small business and terminal services

Can someone suggest a third party utility to install on Windows 2003
SBS that support application mode ?

Some program like Radmin with a way to isolate an application on the
remote desktop.
