I am still learning about remote access. I have a client who is using go to
my pc to access the main office from a branch office. I would like to
change that. They are running 2003 server. What is the best way for them
to be able to run their software from the remote location. They will have 3
users needed to connect.

At the main office, the database is on the server.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Here are a couple of options:

a) If your users' PCs run WinXP Professional then you could get them
to run a Remote Desktop session from their remote locations.

b) You could use your server as a Terminal Server so that your remote
users have an active session on that server. Note that you will need
extra Terminal Server CALs and that Microsoft do not recommend
this mode of operation because of stability and security concerns.
They recommend a dedicated Terminal Server instead.

Re: Terminal Server

You can try VPN, but if it is database, it is better to use TS.
