When logging off yesterday, I had to click the 'End Now' box to do so because
Desktop Proxy was taking time to shut down! Is this a new on you as it is on
me?
Anyone heard of this before? - Thanks - Andrew

Googling for "Desktop Proxy" brings up a lot of links about "Proxy Desktop".
Is this what you have?

In any case, if this isn't something you installed it's time to do some
scanning for malware.

If the machine is clean, consider what you've installed that could possibly
have this component. You can try some clean-boot troubleshooting to help
you with that.
