re-applying service packs?

On Windows 2003 SP2, does the service pack have to be re-applied if you add
any system components later on? e.g IIS. I know this was the case on earlier
OS like NT4.

Hello RossB,

No, if it needs files from the original or the SP it will prompt you for
the needed disk.

Just to clarify, I am adding IIS, but using I386 from a pre SP2 install CD to
add.
