I have a little popup window which has just recently appeared, and it pops up
generally, when I start up the PC. In the window it reads,

"Dell wireless WLAN card wireless network controller stopped working and was
closed".

"A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will
notify you if a solution is available".

What does this mean? I do not need the wireless network setup, so does this
mean I have accidentally activated it and if have, can you tell me how it
could be
de- activated?

Re: WLAN card wireless network???

You could look here to disable the wireless network. Control Panel ->
Network & Internet -> Network & Sharing Center -> Manage Network
Connections. You may see it listed in there & may be able to disable it.
