Trying to install SP2 I get the following message:
There is not enough disk space on C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$ to
install Service Pack2. Setup requires a minimum of 3 additional megabytes of
free space or if you also want to archive the files for uninstallation,
Setup requires a minimum of 3 additional megabytes of free space. Free
additional space on your hard disk and then try again.
Re: There is not enough disk space when installing SP2
Hello Jack,
In the run line type diskmgmt.msc, so you see here one Disk with one partition
over the 50GB?

Re: There is not enough disk space when installing SP2
Hello Jack,
Click Start, RUN and type "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotes, a new window
will open the diskmanagement console. Here you have an overview over the
harddisk and it's partitions and free space in a graphical overview.

Re: There is not enough disk space when installing SP2
Hello Jack,
Try this out:
- Delete the "$ntservicepackuninstall$" file.
- open start run "services.msc", stop automatic update service, then delete
the c:\windows\softwaredistribution folder and start the service, the folder
will be recreated.
- Reboot and then try again.
- If you are asked to allow the creation of a file, be sure to allow it
Do you install SP from disk or via Windowsupdate.com?
Best regards
