In Microsoft Word 2000 running Windows ME, once a document has been
created...
Right click > Properties > Summary > Origin > Revision Number
How do I delete this number completely?
Each time I try to change it, it will not keep the changes.

TIA!

Re: Microsoft Word 2000

See MS KB237361 "How to minimize metadata in Microsoft Word 2000
documents" (http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=237361) which should
hopefully help you here. Otherwise may I suggest you post to a newsgroup
supporting Word. I can't help you directly as I am a long standing
WordPerfect user.

Re: Microsoft Word 2000

Probably not the 'official' or correct answer but its the method I use here
and seems to resolve the issue. Try 'saving as' new name. Seems to reset the
revision number back to 2. Delete original and re-name the new one if
necessary.

Thanks Mark and Mart.

Mark, I saw that article before you posted the link. If I understood it
correctly, will only work before it is created. Was looking for a newsgroup
for Word to post my question. Got confused as to which one. Closed my eyes
and clicked.

Mart, thanks for the that. Will work just fine on one here and there, but
trying to change all of them.

MANYYYYYY THANKSSSSSS!!!!!!
