Windows Vista ipod syncing

it downloads fine but when it comes to install it says quicktime can't
install due to error 2738. i don't have a clue what to do. can anyone help?
Something about VBScript please help it was working fine until the new
download

In the Search box above the Start Orb, type cmd. When cmd.exe appears at the
top, right click it and select "Run as Administrator". In the command window,
type regserv32 vbscript.dll , and then press enter. You should receive a
message that the registration succeeded.

regserv32 is not recognized as a internal or external command, operable
program or batch file


This is what I get when I try what you said. Running Vista Home Premium
32bit

the actual command is:

regsvr32 vbscript.dll


you spelled regsvr wrong
