I don't think Vista is superior to Linux but Vista runs certain programs

that Linux doesn't.  Don't even get started about emulation packages because

is some instances, that isn't even an option.

If you want the functionality of Vista and need to use it's programs then go

for it.  If you can get by with Linux/Ubuntu and can deal with the Open

Source family of software then OK.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I don't fear Linux.  Most people who come

here want to get their problems with Vista solved and don't need Ubuntu

shoved down their throats.  Maybe you don't understand that.  Let's say you

have a problem with your Prius.  You take it to the Toyota dealer and the

sales advisor says, Adam, why not ditch the Prius  and get a Chevy?  You

would probably be insulted with those remarks.  Wrong place.  Wrong time.

Same goes for some of the Linux/Ubuntu/Open Office remarks made here.

Understand?

Sorry to burst your bubble on this one.  I do have a Mac and I use it almost

every day.  I use certain tools for certain tasks.  For me, the Mac is a

better platform for video and digital photography.  I think the tools are

superior so that is what I use.

For my development, I use a Windows solution because that is what works

best.  I agree that Vista does have problems and I won't use Vista in a

development environment but only for testing.  If I didn't need to have a

development environment and my software wasn't "FREE", maybe I would

consider using Linux and Open Office, but for now it just isn't an option.

Sorry again pal.  You and I have an agreement not to be juvenile and sling

personal attacks and so far it seems to be working.

Maybe that will change in the future.  You are still being made fun of by

quite a few people.  Take a look at the last few days posts.  Yes, I am in

some kill files but oh well.
