I have a profile at work and I logon to Windows 2000 server, is there a way
I can logon to my profile at home?

Thanks

Re: Profile

Hello Clayton,

Is it a standalone server or domain controller? How do you login to the server/domain,
with a normal XP or 2000 or with Remote desktop at the server itself?

Best regards

Re: Profile

Hello Clayton,

If the machine was connected tor the domain, you can login also without network
connection using the cached credentials on the local machine. Choose also
the domain name like you logon at work.

This is a question for your I.T. support folks. It's usually very
frowned upon to access your home computer from work (or visa versa).
Security is the biggest issue....

It's also usually an inappropriate use of work assets.....

This is definitely an issue you need to discuss with your network folks.
As a domain admin, I can tell you I will *NEVER* allow a personal PC to
connect directly to my network. I have no way to assure myself that your
computer meets my security requirements or is not infested with a
virus... There are ways to do it, but it requires actions on the part of
I.T. and, for me, Executive Management approvals.

My system is very secure, I've never had a virus on my home machine in
years, I know what to do where to go and what to open
