I have an odd problem. I recently updated my SAV from 10.0.0.359 to
10.1.6.6000 and I had no problems with the server install except for
when I started updating my clients to the most recent version. My
environment is XP Pro SP3 and Windows Server 2003 SP2. I updated my
clients by logging into the SSC then did a client remote install, my
problem lies in only some of the client that are running Server 2003
or XP with these problems

1. "Client remote Installation. The Server (Primary AV Server Name)
is not hosting any compatible symantec antivirus (SAV) 64 bit
installers for the 64 bit client (host name)" I got around this by
logging onto the host in question and doing a local install.

2. I installed the majority of clients using the ClientRemote Install

3. Any clients that I had to ilog on locally and and do a client
install, I don't see in SSC.

4. None of my clients or servers are using 64 bit OS or 64 bit
CPU's. The majority of my servers and clients are running Xeon or
Dual/Quad Core processors.

5. The clients and servers are communicating with the Parent Server
as indicated by the Symantec Client Security.

6. The Log file from 1 server that is communicating but not showing
in SSC

I'm not sure where to go from here and would appreciate any help
offered. I was wondering if there is a way to install 64bit
installers or some type of registry hack.

Have you already installed the Maintenance Packs and Maintenance
Released for this product? Check here and make sure you're up to date:

10.1.7 and 10.2.1 are the current versions, 10.1.5/10.1.6 were a problem
and should be avoided.
