Hello All,

This is a notification about release of new software - Emergency Boot
CD.

Emergency Boot CD (EBCD) is a CD-ROM for booting PC and recovering
data in emergency situations.

EBCD contains file manager, which is able to process files on FAT,
NTFS, EXT3 volumes. All national characters in file names are
displayed correctly and preserved when copied. Long file names (LFNs)
are fully supported, including Unicode LFNs. Builtin editor and viewer
allows you to work with files in any DOS/Windows encodings, and also
UTF-8 and UTF-16.

Using EBCD you can backup your data from fixed disks to any hotplug
device like USB Flash, FireWire removable devices, or other fixed
disks; and restore it when necessary.

EBCD includes Windows Password Wizard, which can be used to restore
access to your PC when you forgot the password for Windows user
account.

EBCD also supports Serial ATA and SCSI disks, full read/write access
to NTFS partitions, USB flash drives, other removable mass storage
devices.

EBCD is a shareware for $29.95.

Hi, EBCD Support.

Since this newsgroup is on the Microsoft public news server, many newbies
who see your announcement will assume that Microsoft supports or at least
endorses your product. You should be sure to prominently disclaim any such
support or endorsement or other connection to Microsoft.

In fact, since this is an unsolicited commercial message, it qualifies as
Spam, and will probably be removed by Microsoft as soon as they see it here.

I've not used or even seen your product, so I have no comments on the
product itself.

Since it's coming from Russia, it is probably a SCAM.

Why even respond to the idiot?

Hi, Bill.

To warn newbies, as I said. Not all the readers of this
newsgroup/discussion group/Community are as experienced as you and MANY
assume that everything posted here has Microsoft's blessing.

Since you just made an ass of yourself spouting wrong information I
shall the garbage you just spewed. This newsgroup appears on thousands
of news servers, none of which have a damn thing to do with Microsoft.
Feeling pretty stupid now? You should be.

So I'll bet you are feeling pretty good about yourself. You just insulted
someone else with your "hollier than thou" screwed up attitude. Feeling
pretty stupid now Adam? You should be.

Remember your insult count across the vast forums of the internet reach over
67,876 and counting. What a total douche bag you are.
