I am just setting up a new windows 2008 domain with vista clients.
Just doing a bit of work getting the roamin profiles up and running.
I have redirected all of the folders to the network shares:
\\servername\home$\
and they seem to be running ok. The problem I am having it that when
the user logs in a folder is on the desktop with their username on.
So when bob smith logs in there is a folder called bob smith. All of
the folders inside this seem to be redirecting to the network drives
ok.
How can i go about disabling this from the desktop? I have had a look
in the group policy but i cannot see what it is called. I have found
the option in the group policy to remove the my documents folder and
my computer but nothing for the folder i am after.
Anyone any ideas? Just dont want my users to start saving stuff here
then they cannot access stuff when log into another PC.
Thanks
