I just looked at the user accounts on my old desktop computer (Windows XP
Home SP3)--for the first time--and I found the following besides the
Administrator and Guest accounts:

ASP.NET Machine A...
Limited account
Password protected

I Googled it and learned that it's something from Microsoft. Is it OK (safe)
to leave it there? It's not on my new notebook computer with XP Pro SP2...

Thanks much!

RE: ASP.NET user account

It's safe.
All it means is that you have downloaded an optional update for .Net Framework

Re: ASP.NET user account

OK, Jane.
I forget which .Net update it was; whether it was 1.0 to1.1, or another
update to it.
I had the same as you, another user account through it; and never got that
optional .Net update again when reinstalling XP..
