It seems no matter how often I check "always take this action" (which I
selected as take no action) Whenever I insert a CD or DVD into the drive, I
get the same dialog AFTER "Auto play" searches the disks for several
seconds. Is there a bug and or fix for this. Thanks.

Re: Persistent Autoplay for CD/DVD

Try Power Toy's Tweak UI from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Install, run and under My Computer/Auto Play/Drives you will find check
boxes to enable/disable Autoplay.

How to Enable or Disable Automatically Running CD-ROMs
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/155217

If non of the above fix the problem, then there is the 'Autoplay Repair
Wizard'
"The Microsoft AutoPlay Repair Wizard scans your computer devices to find
defective AutoPlay settings, and attempts to fix those it finds."

Re: Persistent Autoplay for CD/DVD

Hi
I have a similar problem with a memory card. Can Tweak UI be used for card
as well as CD?
Thanks
