My windows 2003 server is infected with Adware DesktopMedia. My Symantec
Antivirus cannot fully clean up.

Does anyone has ideas to clean it up.

Thanks,
Ivan

The only safe way is to format the system and restore a backup from before
the infection.

Then find out how the infection got there in the first place and prevent it
from occurring again.

Hi Ivan,

Have you tried going through the removal steps suggested by Symantec,
including running your scan in safe mode and manually removing the reg keys?
