when i publish outlook as a remote app for the users, after configuring for
every user on his laptop where the outlook configurations will be saved?
when the user open the remote outlook will he will find it configured???

Re: OUTLOOK

Using the Office resource kit you can have outlook automatically configure
itself when a user first logs into it. All savings are saved in the users
profile on the terminal server. It's a remote application, nothing is saved
locally on the end point.

Re: OUTLOOK

In Office 2007 the resource kit isn't even required anymore, except for the
ADM or ADMX files. For installation do setup.exe /admin and it will allow
you to create an MSP file to alter the installation to your liking.

Below is how this is done on 2000, XP and 2003 Office installations:

Re: OUTLOOK

2007 still has the installation wizard though doesn't it? or does the new
admin install run you through the wizard?

Re: OUTLOOK

The /admin switch takes you to something similar to the Custom Installation
Wizard. I just used this last weekend and it was really simple.
