Since about four days I am getting an Error in the Event Log Application
Windows SharePoint Service 2.0, Category None, Event 1000

This error writes itself in the Log every 5 seconds. I have no idea what
causes this. Any idea how I can solve this problem? Any help would be very
much appreciated. Thank you in advance

Re: Event Log Error Share Point

Hello Somchai,

Please post the complete event veiwer entry, just the number is to less.
If you google for event id 1000 you can see why.

Best regards

Thanks for your quick reply. Here it is:

Category: None
Type: Error
Event ID: 1000
User: N/A

Description:
#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on
SUNPARADSERVER\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and
make sure that the database server is running.

Hope that is the info you asked for.
