You'd be surprised if you were aware of the large number of
posts with no question at all, the wrong question, much of the
essential background information missing, posted in the wrong
newsgroup or with a question that the OP could answer by
himself in much less time than it took him to write the post (and
wait for an answer). It appears that the habit of reading one's
own post before sending it on its way is not widely adopted.
