uploaded win 2000, screen comes up to put in user id and password. I do not
have either. I have called several win 2000 support help on the phone, but
no one can help me, and referred me to this site.
When I turn computer on, I do not get any other options, just the sign on
page.
Help.

"uploaded win 2000"

What does this mean? Clean install? If so you can use the username
"administrator" and the password you chose at the time of installation. If
you didn't specify then it is blank.

Re: windows 2000 professional

By upload I assume you mean installed?
That being the case any password/User name would have been the ones you
decided
You could try Administrator, with a blank (none) password

You could try as a last resort 'administrator' as username and
'password' for password. Else you're looking at a re-install.
