Guys,
I am looking to test a complete restore of a Windows 2003 (Ent.) server.
This is a member server with only the OS installed (no other programs have
been installed).
Background :
I have done a restore on a single 2000 AD controller before where I had a
complete backup set. I then reinstalled the entire OS (we were assuming the
whole OS got corrupted) on the same physical machine. From there, we would
go into F8 - directory restore mode and restore the system state.
Would this be any different on a member 2003? Instead of going to F8, we
would go into its normal mode?
Thanks in advance,
Tnt
