I am using an OEM version of Windows XP on a Dell PC which is about
4 years old.
I recently rebooted and I now am receiving a blue screen with the message
Unmountable_Boot_Drive.
I no longer have the original OEM disks of Windows XP, however, I have
Windows XP disks from another computer. I have tried booting from the setup
disks and when I get the setup screen I have the choices of hitting the R key
for repair or the enter key to resetup XP, however, nothing happens when I
hit either the R key or the enter Key.
Any suggestions how I can work around this. I have searched through Google
and there are several posts about this problem, however, they all reference
the suggestions above and in my case neither of those suggestions work.
Any help is appreciated.
