I have removed several User Accounts on my Windows 2003 Server AD.

Now I need to delete the User's Profile Folders. Each time I try it tells me
I do not have access?

How, as Administrator, do I delete these folders?

thx

Take ownership, give yourself full control, delete the folders.

As an Administrator I would attend a couple of introductory training courses
to learn about permissions and ownership so that I could become effective at
my job.

You just delete them. Sometimes you have to reboot the machine first
because one or more of the system files in their profile stays in memory if
that user has been logged on earlier. I have never had to mess with any
permissions to delete a user profile while logged in as an Administrator.

Re: How do I delete User's Profile Folders

thanks to all

My problem was not being the Administrator - it went further than that.

I did have files running in the background and ended up deleting the
individually.

Philip - your were correct !- thanks
