Re: What Printers are Available per TS Session
Yes, that should only be possible for administrators, power users
or printer operators. Check membership of a user by typing "whoami
/groups" (without the quotes) in a cmd window in an rdp session.
Note: Some applications, for example Lotus Notes 5.5 and Microsoft
Excel 2002, may display redirected printers from other sessions,
for which users have no permissions.
You can solve this with a free utility from ThinPrint:
MyPrinterView
http://www.thinprint.com/index.php?s=4321&lc=61
But if users see all printers from withing Start menu - Printers,
then chances are that they have too much user rights.
