I am running the MAP Solution Accelerator to baseline a number of Server 2003
machines in terms of running them as VM's using Hyper-V on Server 2008. There
is a rather intrusive status window having a cancel button showing the
status. It is not minimizable. It appears that if I hit the cancel button,
the assessment and logging stops altogether. Is that true? Since I plan on
running this assessment for several weeks, isn't there a way to run this as a
service so it persists between logon/logoff and server reboot cycles?
