Keyboard failure

When I reboot the computer it comes up with "keyboard failure" which it
thinks about for a while, then finally boots up. But, once it is up, there is
no problem with the keyboard at all. However, it makes booting up take about
20 minutes. Keyboard is Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. OS is XP Office
standard.

Try a different keyboard.
