backing up 1 folder
destination = another win 2k3 server
backup scheduled to run every night at 11:00 p.m.
the backup file contains folders only, no files
no errors in backup log
event viewer shows backup & verification successful

any ideas?

- What's the size of the .bkf file?
- What's the exact ntbackup command (with all the switches!)?

Re: ntbackup folders only no files

A lot of ideas.
First, what is the backup type? May be You're watching one of incremental
copies where no changed files found - incremental backup includes only
changed (or created) since last backup files, but contains complete folder
structure.

Are you using the UNC name or mapped drives? The latter just plain don't
work well (or at all).
