We already have the windows 2003 server running/working/all workstation are
joined to this server. Our old server SBS 2000, would like to join it to the
Windows 2003 server and also use it as a terminal server. What are the steps
to do this.

Thank you.

Hello nl,

If i understand you correct you like to upgrade your SBS 2000 DOMAIN to a
normal windows 2003 DOMAIN, is this correct? If not, please describe more
detailed what you are trying to achive.

Then better refer to this NG: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

Best regards

Re: Win2kServer jointo Windowss 2003 Server

Would like to join our old server sbs 2000 (had it's own domain) to our new
domain that's in our new server 2003; like when you join a wokrstation to the
domain....Is it done the same way? Or are there different thinks I have to do
because it's a server with it's own domain (we are no using no more). Then
we need to convert this old server to be a terminal server. How do I do this
tasks.
Thank you.

Re: Win2kServer jointo Windowss 2003 Server

Hello nl,

You can not join a domain to another. Even a migration with ADMT will not
be possible, because you can not create trusts with SBS domains, as far as
i know.

I strongly recommend to post this to:

microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

There you have the SBS experts, they will help you.
