Windows XP Professional

Every time I turn on my laptop, the computer tries to load Windows XP
Professional. We don't have that on the lap top and I can't figure out how
to stop it from continually doing this. It also happens when I open
Microsoft Outlook. Any suggestions from the more computer literate group out
there?

I would say you have wondered into the wrong forum. This
forum is for 64-bit Windows operating systems.

Where did you acquire the laptop? Is there someone who
could look at your laptop to determine what is what.

The information you provide is very sparse and it would be
extremely difficult to come up with a solution based on such
sparse information.

Do you have a local computer shop? It would be easier if
someone was looking at your laptop to figure out what's
happening.

This could only be, either the remnants of an old installation, or you are
having the installation CD in the drive as you boot.

Please describe what you are seeing as the computer boots. In particular, do
you see a menu presented which offers you a choice of operating systems to
boot?
