Windows Vista Opening folders in a new window...

Under Control Panel>Folder Options there is a button that I have checked
that I thought would cause each folder to open in a new separate window.
Obviously, this is not the case, as double-clicking on folders opens them in
that same window.
Can someone tell me how to do this?

You have followed the right steps.....I tried myself...and it works...
I am using Windows Vista x64
