Hello,

When I backup the sys state with Ntbackup I see an error
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:8004230f
Please help me??

Hello Emre,

What OS are you using, which service packs are installed? Are also the latest
VSS patches installed?

Hello Weber,

We are using windows 2003 std srv R2 x64 eng with sp2 and fully updated but
I do not know latest VSS patches installed?

Did you mark only System State to backup ? Do you have two or more
partitions ? Make empty backup.txt, fill content of it with date of
backup and mark file for backup with System State.

We mark only system state backup after we tried this;
Net stop vss
Net stop swprv
regsvr32 ole32.dll
regsvr32 vss_ps.dll
Vssvc /Register
regsvr32 /i swprv.dll
regsvr32 /i eventcls.dll
regsvr32 es.dll
regsvr32 stdprov.dll
regsvr32 vssui.dll
regsvr32 msxml.dll
regsvr32 msxml3.dll
regsvr32 msxml4.dll
Reboot your server.

But the problem was not resolved?
