Using XP Pro SP 2
For the last month or so a number of our users have been reporting files
appearing on their desktops with a name in the following format:
TMP_10-0916-380 20-08-2008_411
NB. there is no file type suffix.
All of these files are zero byte in length and are created either when the
user logs on or off their account. Between zero and 10 of these are generated
at any one time. All users who experience this have roaming profiles.
Caching is turned off on the user profile share.
Anyone else seen this or have any idea what generates these files?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
