Using win2003 server with 2 HDD, trying to setup software mirror. Disk 1
successfully converted to dynamic disk. Disk 0 (split into 2 partitions, no
unallocated space) does convert. The option is there but when selected , I
get no errors or response back. I think this may be due to not having any
free space on the physical disk to convert it but anyone else have any ideas
how to make this a dynamic disk?

Re: Software Mirror Failing

You are right. To convert to dynamic disk, there must be at least 8 MB of
free unalocated space on the disk. Microsoft partitioning tools take this
space into account, but third party tools do not.
