Hopefully this will not be too difficult but I need some help. I'm subbing
for a guy on vacation for the week and their Windows 2003 Terminal server
died over the weekend. I have set up another Windows 2003 server box and am
going set him to be the replacment terminal server for the week until he gets
back. The new server is ready to go and joined to the network. I'm at the
step of ready to turn him into a terminal server and install apps for users
to use (Office, etc). I have not set up a terminal server in a while and
need some help in the steps I need to take.
1. What do I have to do to make this box a terminal server box? Control
Panel/Add Remove/System... Load up Terminal Server and Terminal Server
licensing? I do not have the CDKeys so I am hoping to use it in the 120 eval
mode since I will only need it for the week.
2. Once terminal services are installed what is the process to install apps
such as Office etc. so each user will have access to the apps?
Thanks for any quick help.
