Hello,
I have a REV35 connected via USB to a 2003 SP1 Server (DELL). It was working
quite well during about 2 years. Since last june, it seems to cause the
Server rebooting when disks are exchanged (used for daily backups). Having a
look to minidump file, it seems that the REV driver is causing this. I have
updated to the last version, without success.

Any Idea?

As additional info, part of diag log file:

Firmware Version: 95.B
Firmware Date: 11/19/04
Interface: USB
Disk system file: REV UDF
Version REV-Systemsoftware:2.0.2.22

I recently had a similar issue with a USB REV 35 on a Dell server running SBS 2003. Check the USB drive power supply, the problem went when I changed it. It appeared that the old PSU didn't provide enough power to spin up the disk or to run the eject mechanism. Consequently the server's USB port was being asked to make up the difference and often gave up, rebooting the server.
