Dear All,

Usually, I had the Intel(R) Pro Wireless icon being shown in the task
bar. Suddenly, it disappeared from the task bar. How can I restore
this icon in the task bar?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Probably one of two ways. See if there's an update driver set from
Intel for your WiFi card and the installer software should configure
it and return it to the tray. Or, see if in the Intel Proset Wireless
config tool there's an option for "show in tray".

Are you referring to the taskbar or the Notification Area to the immediate
left of the clock?

Did you just install WinXP SP3?

Is your wireless connection still working?

If there's a left-pointing arrow to the immediate left of the clock and you
click on it, does the icon appear again in Notification Area?

Or Wireless Zero Configuration might have taken control of the
management of the wireless access.

Thanks to all. The icon is back again, close to the clock.
