When i select some folders in Naviation pane on the left hand side of
windows explorer, the Details Pane in right handside show the wrong columns
details, which are Date Taken, Tag, Rating. Seems like it treat the files in
the folder as image but in fact they are other document files.

I got to manually change back to Type and Date Modified, and this occur to
many folders.

Why this occur and how to rectify it seamlessly?

Regards,

Re: Showing wrong column in Windows explorer Details Pane

The folder 'type' is set on the "Customize" tab of the folder properties.

Use the "Ratings" feature. It helps the new users.
