Re: disk cleanup
First, click Start> Settings> Folder Options> View tab, and click to enable "Show
All Files" and click OK.
Next, click Start> Find> Files or Folders.
Choose to search the Local Hard Disks, or the C:\ drive.
In the Search box, type:
*.tmp,*.chk
and click Find Now.
(That's asterisk dot tmp comma asterisk dot chk)
When the search is complete, select all the listed .tmp and .chk files, by clicking
the Edit menu> Select All; then click the File menu> Delete. Then delete them from
the Recycle Bin.
