My eyesight is getting to be no match for site designers using ever smaller
fonts.
Is there some procedure to force larger fonts?

Also, in the acessability area, I see mention of a "style" sheet that sounds
hopeful, but I can not find any detailed help for creating and using style
sheets in IE-7

Help or tips appreciated. Thanks

Re: Help with windows readability ...............ts

If your using IE7, down in the lower right the is a dropdown to change the
zoom level, not sure if it's there in older versions.

Try hitting WindowsLogoKey + U and enabling magnifier. then magnify what you
want.

Re: Help with windows readability ...............ts

You can increase the default screen font size in Control
Panel\Screen\Settings\General tab\Click the drop-down window, and change the
PPP size to 120%.. or use Customized Settings for the size you'd like to
type in, you have 125, 150 and 200% available but you can type in any size
in between 101 and 150 (I would not advice going over 150%)... Larger font
sizes may require additional resolution settings, and your internet browning
fonts may have to be reconfigured in Internet Options\General\Accesibility.

Re: Help with windows readability ...............ts

Thanks for the tip Renaldo, but here there is no "screen" item on my control
panel.

Neither is there any "zoom" icon on my system tray.

However - I did locate the zoom feature on the "page" itme in IE-7 so I do
have something that works.

Best regards, Ted

Try control panel---display---appearance tab---large fonts.

Re: Help with windows readability ...............ts

Sorry, I meant Display (my OS is in Spanish)... You can also access the
Display properties with a right click on the Desktop background. Select
Properties\Settings\Advanced Options\General\Drop-down window.

For the zoom try the Magnifier in Start\All
programs\Accesories\Accesibility\Magnifier.
