Windows Vista Alt+tab Problems! Please assist

Here is my problems:

I attempt to Alt+tab the old fashion way and it disappears once and
goes away and if i press tab again it comes back up but disappears
again. So, I can't switch any of my problems. I'm running Vista Home
64bit and I'm just so stumped by all of this. I use alt tab constantly
and it's a must.

Here is what i've tried:

I've done a system restore back before this problem ever started and no
avail. Then I have loaded up the Windows Classic Theme and alt tab works
fine =( so that makes it nothing with my keyboard. I have checked with
the registry and CoolSwitch has a 1 and then the row and column are 7
and 3.


PLEASE help me...I will try anything

Alternative is to use the newer fancy feature of Windows Key + Tab

There is also a third party application called "Switcher" available.
I've never used it but it can be downloaded here :
