Where is the home of current Robocopy information? The sync software we
use doesn't work on 2008. I'm awaiting an install of Commvault which
will include the replication so in the short term Robocopy seems to work
well.

Is there somewhere where Robocopy and all its versions, faqs, etc lives.
It appears to be built into the 2008x64 OS I have installed and I've
seen mention of also built into Vista.

It appears to be a later build which includes the dcopy:t timestamps
funtionality although this is not listed in the output of /? - doesn't
seem to be much info about.

Documentation for the Robocopy utility is located in the Robocopy.doc file
that is included in the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit and the Windows 2000
Resource Kit.

There are many instances of the "robocopy.doc" on the interent downloadable
from many sources (google it)

Thank you - I was surprised not to find it when searching seeing as it
had become integrated into the OS. Also, the /? from the one in the OS
doesn't show the correct current command set so the whole thing was a
little confusing.

Now I've just noticed how well Robocopy copies from long file paths even
when the OS/Explorer shell doesn't pick up there are files there when
you right click/properties on a group of folder/files that contain long
paths.

Now my whole sync scenario needs a rebuild just to make sure we are
catching these long paths.
