after the automatic install of sp3, I am receiving 2 error messages at startup:
The first one reads:
The procedure entry point apsSearchInterface could not be located in the
dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.
The second one reads the same, substituting apsGetReady for
apsSearchInterface.
also IE webpabes do not change accurately. New web pages return a message
that the web page is unavailable. If I refresh the link 1-3 times, it is
responding correctly.

I don't know what this means, nor how to fix it.
I would greatly appreciate any help offered. Thank you.

RE: missing dll files after installing sp3

the problem seems to be with d-link - try downloading new drivers from their
website or get the hotfix from windows

RE: missing dll files after installing sp3

I felt like I needes to do something, so I uninstalled sp3. I do nto receive
the error messages now. One security hotfix will not install now (don't know
why) and if i right click on pictures to copy or email them, I receive a
message that Windows cannot find the associated file to complete the request.
Don't know where that is coming from either.
I'm happy to try an suggestions you guys may have , just feed me the how-to
in 1,2,3 steps! (ex: downlaid drivers from d-link website is not possible
for me becasue i do not about which d-link it refers to or its web site.)

Keep trying 'doc'!
