Re: Deleting old updates
Hello coopfab,
Service packs include all previous updates, patches NOT.
To free up some space start with diskcleanup utility and then think about
deleting the c:\windows\$uninstallkbxxxxxx folders, if you are sure that
you do not need to uninstall an update. Do NOT delete the $hfmig$ folder.
Also you can stop the automatic update service and delete the c:\windows\softwaredistribution
folder which can also grow up. It is only needed for the updating phase.
After deleting the folder start the automatic update service and the folder
structure will be rebuilded. If you have an additional harddisk in the server
you can move the pagefile to the other harddisk.
